Juried Competition Awards Sponsors
What is the Purpose
The Award Sponsors Chair is responsible for soliciting donors to underwrite the cost of the Guild’s annual Fair and Market Juried Competition artists’ awards.
Who is Involved
The Award Sponsors Chair is selected by the Juried Competition Chair.
What are the Tasks
Consult the Juried Competition Chair to determine what Awards will be given. Traditionally, the awards are:
- Best of Show 1 award $1000 and an Award Ribbon
- Best of Classification 8 awards $ 500 and an Award Ribbon
- Best of Division - 1st Place 38 awards $ 200 and an Award Ribbon
- Best of Division - 2nd Place 38 awards $ 100 and an Award Ribbon
- Conrad House Award 1 award $ 250 and an Award Ribbon
- Judges’ Choice Recognition Ribbons
- Honorable Mention Recognition Ribbons
Mail requests for Award sponsors and/or personally solicit potential sponsors.
Receive and record donations.
Maintain a list of sponsors for each Award.
Forward all monies to the Guild Treasurer with list of Sponsors on a weekly basis.
Prepare a complete list of Sponsors and forward to the Museum’s Director of Marketing to be included in the Fair Program and other brochures

October through February
Solicit sponsors.
February
Forward list of sponsors to the Museum’s Director of Marketing.
