Best of Show

Prior to the opening of the Indian Fair & Market, all the participating artists are encouraged to submit pieces of their artwork for Juried Competition.  As its name implies, the Best of Show is where the award winning artwork from that competition is exhibited.  This popular and exclusive event is open only to those who have purchased tickets in advance.  Attendees are treated to a gala social event, a succulent buffet dinner, and a preview of the best artwork the Indian Fair & Market has to offer.  Many collectors and gallery owners attend this event to do some serious window shopping.

In addition to the dinner and the exhibition, a silent auction is held.  As a contribution to the Heard Museum and as a way to promote their work, artists participating in the Indian Fair & Market donate pieces of their artwork to the Best of Show silent auction.  The revenue earned at the auction helps the Heard Museum.  The reputation earned by the exposure helps the artist.
